- Before painting, wash your nails with soap and water, then dry them thoroughly
- Apply one coat of a base coat, making sure to glide your brush past the edge of your nail. Base coat helps the polish stick to your nails
- Paint on one to three thin coats of your polish color, still making sure to paint over the edge of each nail. Thin coats of polish prevent bubbles and long drying times. This technique also keeps your polish job silky smooth!
- Apply one layer of top coat to seal your mani and get the best wear time

I really love how this nail polish is Non Toxic and Vegan. That is so awesome. Also i really love the color. Its Natural looking and lasts a very long time before having to reapply.

My latest product to review is the Non-Toxic + Vegan Nail Polish in 50 R-Rated by Habit Cosmetics. I love the color of this nail polish. I think it is such a pretty and brilliant color for the Spring season. This polish is actually healthy for your nails by making them stronger. I found that this polish lasts longer without any chipping when I compared it to other brands on the market. I also thought that it dried faster than other brands that I have tried. I normally apply 2 coats of polish to my nails but with Habit Polish I used just 1 coat and still had beautiful, long-wearing nail polish. This polish is free of formaldehyde, toluene, epoxy resin, etc. and so many other harmful ingredients.

This nail polish shade is gorgeous!!!! It's perfect for the spring, it reminds me of the color of many spring flowers. It's rich without going into fall shade territory which I loved. I also love that its non-toxic and vegan! I was very surprised by how easy it was to apply and how long it lasted. I added a top coat so I'm sure that also helped. Overall I'm very pleased and would highly recommend!
