THE ULTIMATE in Velvet Underground

Great on the go product. I haven't been using much makeup for a couple of years now but there are times when I need just a little color added to my face and this is just perfect for that. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet because I have oily lids and this product would not work for me but it is great for my lips and cheeks. It isn't very glossy and a little goes a long way for me. Definitely handy to keep one in your purse.

I absolutely love the color of this product. You can use it for your lips, cheeks and even as eyeshadow and those type of products that are multi-use are my favorite! The smell is funny though and I’m guessing it’s because it’s organic. Which is fine it doesn’t bother me all that much.

This lip color is everything it promises to be: Buildable, versatile, and natural. With sustainable packaging to boot! The first time I applied it, I used my fingertip and got more of a lip stain. With a brush, it went on thicker like a lipstick. Paired with lip liner, I feel like a rock star! It feels matte but has a shine to it, which I appreciate. The only drawback for me is the scent. I can smell the castor oil. I know it’s a great ingredient and gets the job done right, I just don’t like the way it smells. Either way, the color is flattering to my fair, freckled face, and that means everything!
